What Spring Break Really Looks Like, According to Students
By Dana BarbutoEmily and Kyleigh go beyond the beaches, sharing laughs, chaos, and confessions in the latest ‘Off the Books’ podcast episode.
The newest episode of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’s student-driven podcast “Off the Books” is live. In episode 3—"Spring Break: Chaos, Couch Potatoes & Confessions”—co-hosts Emily Obuseh and Kyleigh Hill go all in on what spring break really looks like for students. They talk “tiny wins,” like sneaking in a quick review session between naps, but also binge-watching “Criminal Minds” until the sun comes up.
The episode is loaded with laughs, a bit of chaos, and those honest confessions about student life that everyone secretly relates to. Emily and Kyleigh even share a wild cruise story, get into a debate about midterms (do we need them right before break?), and ask other students how spring break messes with their stress levels.
Launched in February, the podcast is laced with fast-paced humor, plenty of pop culture references, and zero pretending—just college life, unfiltered. Emily, Health Psychology/Occupational Therapy ’28 and Kyleigh, Diagnostic Medical Sonography ’28, co-host the show. Fanny Fellevik, digital content manager in Marketing and Communications, manages and produces it, with first-year nursing student Cristian Garcia helping out with editing and co-production.
