Space in the Online PharmD program is limited, so students are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Merit Scholarships

Scholarships up to $20,000 per year are available for the Online PharmD program. To maximize scholarship eligibility, students are encouraged to apply early.

Admission Requirements

Students with a bachelor's degree or the appropriate amount of college credits and prerequisites may apply to the Hybrid Online PharmD Pathway program. Courses must have been completed at a regionally accredited college or university with a grade of C or better for transfer. Math and science courses taken more than ten years prior to the anticipated date of matriculation to MCPHS will not be accepted. MCPHS does not require the PCAT for admission.

Students with international coursework must submit a course-by-course evaluation from World Education Service (www.wes.org) or Education Credential Evaluators (www.ece.org). Please note that a WES or ECE evaluation is not required for applicants with coursework from English-Speaking Canadian universities and colleges.

Required courses for students with at least a Bachelor's Degree:

Additional courses required for students without a Bachelor's Degree:

  • English Composition (3 credits)
  • English Elective (3 credits) (Acceptable courses include any additional English course including Introduction to Literature, Poetry, Women Writers, English Composition II, or English Literature)
  • Introduction to Psychology (3 credits)
  • Introduction to Sociology (3 credits)
  • Economics (3 credits)
  • Liberal Arts Electives (12 credits)
