The Eye and Vision Center and 10 Optical Retail Location are run by the School of Optometry at MCPHS University, a leader in health sciences education.

We are committed to providing the highest level of eye care and patient services in our state-of-the-art clinical teaching facilities, where faculty oversee current Doctor of Optometry (OD) students.

Our professional staff includes faculty members who are residency-trained, board certified optometrists.

They are leaders in patient care and clinical instruction, and their priority is meeting the unique needs of each patient.

Since its founding in 2012, the professional staff at the Eye and Vision Center and 10 Optical have positively impacted the lives of thousands of patients in the greater Worcester area – a legacy we are proud of.

Mission Statement

To support the Optometric profession by educating future optometrists to the fullest extent of clinical scope within an interprofessional and community-oriented environment, while providing care to all members of society, especially those who are underserved.

About MCPHS

From its founding in 1823 as the second-oldest pharmacy college in the United States, to its current incarnation as a state-of-the-art university for health sciences, MCPHS is focused on shaping healthcare and bettering the field one generation at a time.

MCPHS offers more than 100 degree programs, all designed to empower the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The School of Optometry was founded in 2012 and calls the University’s Worcester campus home.

Since its founding, the School of Optometry has continued to build a strong and close-knit community of educators and learners.

Students in the Doctor of Optometry program benefit from a very low student-to-faculty ratio, allowing them to gain critical interaction with their professors and instructor and ultimately empowering them to provide the best possible patient care.

Comprehensive Eye and Vision Care Starts at MCPHS

The Eye and Vision Center at MCPHS offers accessible, comprehensive eye and vision care to patients in Worcester, Massachusetts, and the surrounding areas. Knowledgeable, highly skilled optometrists work together with dedicated student interns to provide the best care possible.
