About

Maritza Nassif, M.Ed., is the manager for Volunteer Services and Patient Programs at Dana- Farber Cancer Institute and an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at MCPHS. She graduated from Emmanuel College with a BA in Counseling and Health Psychology and a Masters in Education. At Dana-Farber, she manages the day-to-day activity of Volunteer Services and their Patient and Family Resource Centers. Maritza has spent the last few years focused on creating a more equitable and culturally sensitive patient education environment for the patients and families at Dana-Farber. She has also been an adjunct since 2020 and has brought that same focus and individualistic approach to her work with students at MCPHS.
