About

As an assistant professor of psychology, Amy primarily teaches Introduction to Psychology and Human Development through the Life Cycle, along with other electives. Her research interests center around child and adolescent development, specifically in terms of health outcomes. Amy is particularly passionate about teaching and learning in higher education, and implements high-impact practices in the classroom such as inclusive and culturally-sustaining pedagogy. Amy holds an additional appointment as the Assistant Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences, where she supports faculty development and student success more broadly.
