Interstride

The Career Development Center has partnered with Interstride to offer international students a valuable resource that will provide even greater support for their career development and job search needs.  Interstride takes complicated sponsorship data and makes it simple to identify the top-sponsoring companies in the United States.  Students will be able to apply for job/internship opportunities with companies that have a strong track record of hiring and sponsoring international candidates.

It is important to know that Interstride is a supplemental tool in your job search, but for questions about your immigration status, and work authorization, MCPHS Immigration and International Support Services are the designated F-1 student advisors. Before accepting any employment you should contact their office.

Career Opportunities

• Up-to-date job and internship postings from employers focusing on international students and an aggregation search for opportunities at H1-B sponsoring employers in the U.S. or at companies and organizations abroad.
• Real-time career and immigration related updates. These include reports and trends in the workforce that will be posted on the homepage.

Visa and Immigration Support

• Resources to better understand the visa process and a tool to look up what companies and organizations have sponsored H1-B visas in the past.
• Country-by-country guide for students considering work abroad.

Webinars and Workshops

• Students can attend monthly workshops and live webinars. The events are recorded and can be viewed after.
• Immigration lawyers share insight during live events.

Productivity Resources

• Job-searching checklists and meeting tracker.

Student - Interstride Directions

Go to student.interstride.com/. At the log in page, use the following:

• Username: mXXXXXXX@stu.mcphs.edu - your MCPHS email address
• Password:  use the password associated with your MCPHS username
• Students should use their full MCPHS username to log in (same username as Blackboard and my.mcphs)
