Coming to Campus

The University has made a commitment to our students and employees with Flexplan 2021, the safe reopening plan for the campuses for the spring 2021 semester. The health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff is our highest priority. One of the major steps the University is taking to help achieve that goal is limiting the daily number of people on campus.

For our Students, Faculty, and Staff

To help keep the daily campus population minimized, only students, faculty, and staff who are scheduled to be on campus will be allowed on campus. This requirement means that you will only be allowed on campus if you are scheduled to attend or teach classes or if your job requires that you be on campus on a specific day.

Each day, only the following populations will be allowed on campus:

  • Students attending face-to-face class or lab scheduled for that day
  • Faculty employed by the University with positions that require on-campus presence teaching face-to-face class or lab scheduled for that day
  • Staff members who are employees needed on campus for a successful reopening – Public Safety, Facilities, Help Desk, etc.

All students and employees can find more information about expectations for coming to campus here:

For our Visitors and Contractors

There are instances in which visitors and contractors need to come to campus. All visitors and contractors will be required to:

  • Self-evaluate their symptoms and complete the daily health screening questionnaire through the MCPHS website before their visit: Campus Visitor Screening Questionnaire.
  • Patient and other clinic participants will be contacted by the clinic to complete a patient screening questionnaire within 72 hours of your visit and then upon arrival to the campus.
  • Participate in COVID-19 testing.
