MCPHS Responds
MCPHS has seen hundreds of students, alumni, faculty, and staff volunteer to help with the monumental task of vaccinating our country against COVID-19. They have helped in a great variety of ways. They have administered thousands of COVID-19 vaccinations. They have used their expertise help with the complex process of preparing doses. They have greeted and comforted patients and addressed their concerns. They have fought misinformation and provided communities and patients with evidence-based knowledge. They have stepped up to help protect people in their communities and beyond.
Many MCPHS Community members have independently reached out to local healthcare institutions and given their time. Additionally, because of the huge number of MCPHS Community members who have expressed interest to the University in serving the greater population, MCPHS has been able create formal partnerships and supply pharmacists, pharmacy interns, nurses, nursing students, and physician assistants to many impactful organizations.
