Training

Improving Access to Healthcare

Two training programs are being offered by the Massachusetts Health and Disability Program of the Department of Public Health to make your practice accessible.

The goals of the programs are to recognize health inequity and that people with disabilities may experience health disparities, and reduce barriers faced by people with disabilities and improve access to health care and preventive services.

After completing the training, you will be invited to attend technical assistance sessions with the Massachusetts Health and Disability Program and self-advocates with disabilities. You'll be able to get answers to more of your questions on how to make your practice accessible.
