Welcome to the Occupational Therapy Program

Congratulations on your decision to attend the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program at MCPHS!

We’re excited that you’ll be joining us soon. There are some important steps to prepare for your time at MCPHS, detailed below. We will continue to post specific information on this page, so be sure to check back often.

White coats and name tags will be ordered for each student by the department. White coat sizes should be based on blazers or jackets that you wear over other clothing. Please submit your size using the fall 2021 white coat order form.

Questions about white coat orders can be directed to Eileen.Sheehan-Willet@mcphs.edu.

All students are required to complete two certifications through the American Heart Association by the end of their first semester in the master's program:

A face-to-face/hands-on training course must be completed, and substitutions from other companies will not be accepted. Students will upload a copy of their certifications into the fieldwork database during their first semester. Instructions on how to do this will be provided at orientation.

Questions about certifications may be directed to Professor Freeman at Olivia.Freeman@mcphs.edu.

The MCPHS University bookstore at the Boston campus is able to sell and rent textbooks to Worcester and Manchester students through their website. They offer free shipping and a bundle discount code to students for course material orders.
