Congratulations on accepting your admission offer into one of our online nursing programs offered through the School of Nursing at MCPHS.

We’re excited to provide you with a world-class online healthcare education experience. Before you begin your online program, review the information and resources below to prepare you as you begin your MCPHS online education. We will continue to post specific information on this page, so be sure to check back often.

White coats and name tags will be ordered for each student by the Nursing department. Sizes should be based on blazers or jackets that you wear over other clothing. The School of Nursing will order and mail white coats and name tags to each student using the mailing address on file with the University.

  • Spring 2026 orientation will take place Thursday, December 18 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m EST via Zoom. Please check your MCPHS email for further orientation details.
  • Orientation is mandatory, and those who do not attend will not be eligible to begin the program and will need to reapply for a later term.

MSN online testing will be monitored and proctored by ProctorU. Learn more about ProctorU using the information below.

All MCPHS students are issued an ID badge that must be worn and presented when on campus. Students will receive an email from Information Services, which will contain a link to upload a head shot photo of yourself for your ID. Once all students in the cohort submit their photo, ID’s will be created and mailed to students.

If a student has completed graduate nursing coursework that would like to have considered for transfer credit, please provide a copy of the course syllabus to Kristen.Watson@mcphs.edu in order for coursework to be considered for transfer, an official transcript with a final letter grade needs to be submitted to the Admissions Office.
All admitted students will be added to the School of Nursing Graduate Virtual Village organization in Blackboard. The virtual village is a place for graduate nursing students to access School of Nursing information, including clinical requirements, the MSN Student Handbook, and MCPHS student resources. You can access the School of Nursing Graduate Virtual Village by logging into Blackboard and viewing Organizations.
