Welcome to the New England School of Acupuncture

Congratulations on your acceptance and decision to attend the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS. We’re excited that you’ll be joining us in the fall. Before the program begins there are some next steps you’ll need to take to get ready. On this page you will find important information and forms that you will need to begin your studies. We will continue to post program specific information here so please bookmark this page and visit it often.

Next steps for incoming Acupuncture students.

The New England School of Acupuncture will order white coats and nametags for all incoming Acupuncture students. Students are required to fill out an online form. Start filling out your form.

White coat sizes should be based on blazers or jackets that you wear over other clothing.

Any questions regarding white coat and name badge ordering can be directed to Sue Gorman at 774.243.3488 or sue.gorman@mcphs.edu

Students are required to purchase their own scrubs for use in the Acupuncture program. Scrubs are required attire for assistantship sites and practical hands-on courses. Students can choose any brand, but the scrubs color must be Hunter Green.

Students commonly order from this website.

The American Heart Association BLS/CPR training for Healthcare Providers is required of all students. Students are encouraged to complete this training prior to the beginning of their entering fall semester. You may select either In-Person or Blended (combination of in-person and online). Visit the Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers for more information. If you hold current CPR certification, you may provide proof of this by sharing a copy of both sides of your signed CPR card with a course director.

Beginning Fall 2017, the Acupuncture programs will begin using ExamSoft (electronic testing software) for online testing. All students are required to bring a laptop or Ipad meeting the minimum specifications below.
