Family Resources
BostonWelcome to the MCPHS community!
We know this is an exciting time in your student's life, and that helping them select a college was a monumental decision. At MCPHS, we strongly believe family members provide critical support for their student's college experience.
Orientation
Our Orientation program, MCPHS Connect, provides family and guests the opportunity to learn about all the support and resources MCPHS offers your student. MCPHS Connect is a hybrid program that includes a self-paced online module and in-person session.
The in-person Orientation dates for families and guests whose student is starting in fall 2024 are:
- Thursday, June 20, 2024
- Friday, June 21, 2024
- Saturday, June 22, 2024
- Sunday, June 23, 2024
- Thursday, August 29, 2024
Registration information for fall 2024 Orientation will be coming soon. Your student will receive a link to register for their preferred date as the summer approaches.
There will be two separate schedules at Orientation, one for incoming students and one for families/guests. Students and their family/guest members will start the day together then break off to their perspective programs and then reunite in the latter half of the day. Your student is able to register up to two family/guest members to attend their chosen Boston Orientation date.

Although your student might face the normal challenges of moving away for the first time, we provide ample resources to make this transition as smooth as possible. Our housing options are expansive, allowing your student flexibility in selecting their living arrangements. Our many clubs and student organizations will provide your student with the opportunity to find their campus community. And our support services are available to accommodate your student's specific needs.
The MCPHS community will do everything they can to help your student feel comfortable and at ease—which will help you breathe a sigh of relief.
Financial Services
The value of an MCPHS education gives your student the opportunity to follow their passion and build a fulfilling career. MCPHS helps students secure financial aid, and when they graduate, they rank as the highest earners in New England. The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education ranked MCPHS #1 in the U.S. for earning power in 2018.
MCPHS provides you with one point of service for all of your family's financial service needs, such as applying for aid or scholarships, navigating your student's student account, or seeking alternative financing options. Our Student Financial Services staff will help you and your student. Together, we’ll create a payment plan that makes sense for you and your student.
