Recording a Local Class in a DE Classroom

1. Touch the Crestron Touch Screen to wake it up
2. Select the Teaching Classroom option
3. Select Utilities option on the bottom of the screen
4. Select the Codec Control option on the right side of the screen
5. Dial 4 digit alias (example 2035) on the numeric keypad and then select the green Call button. Each room has its own 4-digit record alias. Open a Help Desk ticket to get the alias and let us know you will be recording and what the Blackboard course ID is so we can upload the video to blackboard

You will see a five second countdown on one of the TVs. After the countdown, the TV will display a Recording message letting you know that you’re recording.

When the recording is complete, there are two ways to stop it:

1. Shutting down the AV system will stop the recording.
2. Go back to the Utilities screen and press the red Hangup button twice.
