Getting Around Worcester

Whether you live on or off our vibrant Worcester campus, there are plenty of ways to get around the city – or to commute out of the city for clinical rotation placements.

Public Transportation

Reliable, comfortable, and safe public transportation is available through the WRTA, the state’s second largest regional transit authority in Massachusetts. The WRTA services the City of Worcester and the surrounding 37 communities in the Central Massachusetts area through bus lines.

Parking is available on our Worcester campus at various locations within walking distance of the campus buildings. There are also many affordable 24-hour parking garages in the area.

Now you can make the trip from Worcester to Boston in under an hour – on the MBTA’s new “HubtoHeart” train! Each weekday, there is one non-stop commuter rail train to and from Worcester’s Union Station and Boston’s South Station. The new service has made it easier than ever for our students to commute, and to participate in clinical and internship opportunities in Boston.

Many of our students use ride-sharing though Uber.

Getting involved on campus has never been easier
