Join MCPHS for Family Weekend, an annual tradition welcoming students' families and friends to MCPHS. Guests are invited to join us for events and programs planned both on and off campus. During Family Weekend, families get to experience our campus in ways they never have before while exploring the great city of Boston.

Registration is required and will launch on Monday, August 31, at 12 p.m. Some events will require an additional paid ticket. Family members/guests under the age of 2 do not need a ticket for any event. View more information.

Family Weekend Event Schedule

Welcome Reception and Bingo Night

Dean’s Welcome Reception
5-7 p.m. | Matricaria Lobby

Join us to kick off an exciting weekend and mingle with our faculty and staff as we welcome you to campus and the City of Boston. Enjoy selections from charcuterie grazing tables as you get to know other families and representatives from across campus.

Boston Bingo
7-9 p.m. | Reed Hall

Put your luck to the test and enjoy a few rounds of Bingo, a classic Campus Life event. Planned around a Boston theme, prizes include Boston sports merch, gift cards to local restaurants, and more!

Student Leadership Panel
10-11 a.m. | OPR 213

Interested in learning how your student can be involved on campus? Curious about how events are built from the ground up? Join us on Saturday morning to hear directly from our students! Representatives from the Student Government Association, Orientation, Clubs and Organizations, Cardinals Activities Board, and more will be present to share their experiences and answer your questions.

Watch your Student Grow
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Atrium

Join us in the Atrium to receive a custom pot and various gardening tools, plants, and seeds to commemorate your time on campus this weekend.

Pottery Class
2-3 p.m. | Atrium

Family/Guest Price: $10
MCPHS Student price: $5

Based out of Needham, MA, representatives from Pottery with a Purpose will lead a pottery-making class right on campus! Art teachers will provide you with all materials and instructions to make a beautiful vase or item of your choice to take home!

Wicked | Broadway in Boston
8 p.m. | Citizen Opera House, 539 Washington St., Boston, MA 02111

So much happened before Dorothy dropped in. Wicked, the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz... but from a different angle.

Tickets will be sent via email prior to the date. Be sure to double-check your email address when entering it in the ticket details when purchasing.

Fenway Park Tour
10:30-11:30 a.m. | Fenway Park (4 Jersey St, Boston, MA 02215)

Family/Guest price: $10
MCPHS Student price: $5

Since 1912, fans have flocked to Fenway Park to watch the home team play in the heart of Boston. It is referred to as "America's Most Beloved Ballpark" by Major League Baseball and sports enthusiasts. Take in the magnificent view atop the fabled Green Monster, standing 37 feet 2 inches high, overlooking left field. Experienced tour guides will lead you through the hallowed walls and legendary moments of historic Fenway Park. This is a private tour just for the MCPHS community! More details to come.
