Getting Around Worcester

Whether you live on or off our vibrant Worcester campus, there are plenty of ways to get around the city or commute out of it for clinical rotation placements.

Public transportation

Reliable, comfortable, and safe public transportation is available through the WRTA, the state’s second largest regional transit authority in Massachusetts. The WRTA services the city of Worcester and the surrounding 37 communities in the Central Massachusetts area through bus lines.

Parking

Parking is available on our Worcester campus at various locations within walking distance of its buildings. There are also many affordable 24-hour parking garages in the area.

HubtoHeart

You can make the trip from Worcester to Boston in under an hour on the MBTA’s “HubtoHeart” train. Each weekday, there is one non-stop commuter rail train to and from Worcester’s Union Station and Boston’s South Station. The service has made it easier than ever for our students to commute and participate in clinical and internship opportunities in Boston.

Uber

Many of our students use ride-sharing through Uber.
