Become a Peer Note Taker

Office of Student Access and Accommodations

Based on student need, the Office of Student Access and Accommodations may hire peer note takers to provide supplemental notes for students receiving note taking as an academic accommodation.

  • Do you take accurate and detailed notes?
  • Are your notes legible and easy to read?
  • Do you have a GPA of 3.0 or higher?

If you answered YES to all three questions, you may be a good fit for our peer note taker position. If we have a need for a peer note taker in a course you are registered for, you will receive an email form our office with information on how to apply.

Note takers are paid the hourly minimum wage in exchange for their notes. Note takers are not paid for cancelled classes, exams, or other times when no notes are taken.

Please note that due to the number of applicants we will only contact you if you match our current needs. Please do not reach out to inquire about the status of your application. If you match our current needs, we will reach out to you directly.
