Academic Spaces

Worcester Campus Life

On our MCPHS-Worcester campus, future healthcare leaders come together in a vibrant environment dedicated to learning about the profession. The location offers student-centered academic and living spaces.

Our innovative academic spaces include:

Foster Street

This state-of-the-art facility at 19 Foster Street includes two auditoriums with two-way videoconferencing, classrooms, laboratories, a library, a computer lab, a student lounge, and the Brant Student Services area.

Located at 25 Foster Street, the Thomas Henry Borysek Living and Learning Center contains administrative and faculty offices, conference rooms, classrooms, and a technology center – plus patient assessment and clinical simulation laboratories. The basement houses a comfortable lounge for group activities, studying, and socializing.

The Maher Academic Center at 40 Foster Street offers 30,000 square feet of academic and student space. Our pharmacy students gain hands-on experience in the street-level multipurpose laboratory, which features a state-of-the-art model pharmacy that simulates community and institutional practice environments. A student lounge, student meeting rooms, and quiet study areas complete the facility.

Lincoln Square Academic and Student Center

The Lincoln Square Academic and Student Center is the epitome of an immersive healthcare environment. Just a short walk from our Foster Street facilities, this is the home of our Optometry, Physician Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and Physical Therapy programs.

Optometry students conduct vision screenings at the Eye and Vision Center and explain frame and lens options at 10 Optical, our retail location. Dental hygiene students gain hands-on experience with real patients in the Forsyth Dental Hygiene Clinic, and our physical therapy students refine their skills in the Balance and Movement Clinic.

Along with lecture halls and state-of-the-art lab spaces, our students enjoy 24-hour access to an expansive study area and lounge that features views of the city of Worcester.

New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS on Norwich Street

The newly designed, contemporary 34,000-square-foot facility at 19 Norwich Street houses the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS and offers five stories of academic and clinical treatment space. Our acupuncture students gain hands-on experience working directly with patients in our twelve private treatment rooms, acupuncture supply store, and Herbal Medicine Center. The facility also includes technology-enabled classrooms, faculty and administration offices, and a student lounge.
