HECCMA is an association of public and private accredited colleges and universities in central Massachusetts.

The Higher Education Consortium of Central Massachusetts (HECCMA) is an association of public and private accredited colleges and universities in central Massachusetts.

HECCMA’s eleven member colleges and universities offer a diverse set of courses in many academic disciplines, adding to the rich cultural fabric of Worcester and central Massachusetts. They include a range of humanities offerings such as languages, history, and literature. Arts programs such as music performance, visual art, and theatre. As well as engineering, math, veterinary, medicine, and sciences courses.

Cross Registration

MCPHS students can cross-register for courses at the universities within the Higher Education Consortium of Central Massachusetts. Take a developmental psychology course at Clark University or an Arabic class at the College of the Holy Cross – it’s all possible through cross-registration.

Transportation and Ridesharing

HECCMA partners with MassRIDES to offer commuter services, including ride shares.
